This order continues 23 federal advisory committees through September 30, 2027, while replacing related committee provisions from a 2023 order.
Twenty-three listed federal advisory committees will continue operating through September 30, 2027, subject to federal advisory-committee rules and available funding.
For these committees, named agency heads will handle the President’s committee-related duties under General Services Administration procedures. This replaces related sections of a 2023 order.
The President continues the listed federal advisory committees. The committees cover areas including national security, health, veterans, national monuments, education, science, trade, and environmental policy. The order lists 23 committees and names the agency responsible for each one. The committees remain subject to the Federal Advisory Committee Act and other applicable law. Implementation depends on available funding. The continuation is effective September 30, 2025, and lasts until September 30, 2027.
The named department or agency heads must perform the President’s applicable committee-related functions under General Services Administration procedures. This assignment applies only to the committees listed in Section 1 and to functions covered by the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The assignment does not remove authority given to agencies or their heads by law. The order does not change the Office of Management and Budget’s budget, administrative, or legislative functions. Sections 1 and 2 of Executive Order 14109 are superseded for these matters. The assignment and supersession take effect September 30, 2025.
