The human services director would be allowed to choose someone else to receive and approve grant plans. This applies to family resource centers seeking grants from the director. A center must get its plan approved before receiving a grant. The plan must include input from the center's council and local and state elected officials for its area. This option would start July 1, 2027. Centers must resubmit plans by July 1 each year and when they adopt a proposed change.
