Revenue department reports July collections and year-end tax estimates

The Department of Revenue submits a monthly report on tax collections and estimates for the current fiscal year. The report covers Massachusetts fiscal year 2027 state tax revenue, excluding revenue from the 4% income surtax when comparing collections with the state limit. The department says its estimates use currently available data and may be revised. The 4% income surtax is excluded from the revenue limit comparison. The report gives year-to-date figures through July 31, 2026, and estimates for fiscal year 2027, which ends June 30, 2027.
