Program officials would publicly report 180-day employment rates for people finishing VET TEC high-technology training and regularly use participant feedback to improve it.
Program officials would publish the share of VET TEC participants employed 180 days after finishing. Certain jobs with the training provider or related organizations would not count.
Program officials would regularly gather and study feedback from VET TEC participants and the GI Bill feedback tool, then use it to improve how the program runs.
Program officials would make the program operations report public and calculate a 180-day employment rate. The rate would cover people who completed VET TEC high-technology training during the reporting year. A job with the training provider would not count. A job teaching a substantially similar program for its parent or affiliate would also not count. When practical, the report would show separate rates for full-time employment, part-time employment, and self-employment. Employment would be measured on the date exactly 180 days after each participant completed the program.
Program officials would seek, collect, and analyze feedback, then use it to evaluate and improve the program. Feedback would come from VET TEC participants and the GI Bill School Feedback Tool or its replacement. Officials would conduct this feedback work on an ongoing basis.
No hearings or votes scheduled.
