Landowners, tenants, and their authorized helpers could keep antlers, meat, and hides from deer killed under a damage permit on land with current or recent crops or cultivated pasture.
Landowners, tenants, and their authorized helpers could take antlers, meat, and hides from deer killed under a damage permit. The permit covers deer found on land with crops growing now or in the past 12 months, or pasture seeded with cultivated grass. Authorized helpers must carry a written permit from the state division, signed by the landowner or tenant. The division may require proof of deer damage in the past 12 months before issuing a permit. This permission would take effect as soon as the bill becomes law.
