Health professionals would need bias training to renew licenses

Health licensees and registrants would have to complete implicit-bias training before renewing their license or registration. The requirement covers licensees and registrants under the public health code, except people licensed under part 188. The department would decide how many training hours are appropriate. The requirement would not apply to people licensed under part 188. The training must be completed during the license or registration cycle immediately before the renewal application.
