D.C.’s Department of Behavioral Health would award grants to keep outreach services running. The grants cover the targeted outreach program’s fiscal year 2026 recipients and listed sites in Wards 1, 2, 5, and 6. Awards depend on available money, including money in the Opioid Abatement Fund. The department may also fund services at additional sites. The grants would cover fiscal year 2027. The temporary act would expire 225 days after taking effect.
