Wellfleet would be permitted to spend designated housing funds on year-round affordable and attainable homes for listed workers and health care professionals. The provision covers people who engage in or support commercial shellfishing, aquaculture, or marine fisheries, and health care professionals who live or plan to live in Wellfleet. The funds must be designated to create or preserve year-round affordable and attainable housing. All other rules under the referenced housing program and its regulations would continue to apply. The act would take effect when it passes.
