Anyone, including public workers and elected officials, would face civil fines for sexual activity in a government facility if this proposal becomes law.
Starting on the 90th day after enactment, anyone engaging in sexual activity in a government facility would face a $1,000 to $5,000 fine for a first violation or up to $10,000 for later ones.
The proposal would bar sexual activity in government facilities and impose civil fines on violators. It applies to anyone in state, county, or local government buildings and other facilities government bodies own or lease. Sexual activity includes intentional sexual touching of another person, oral sex or penetration, and exposing genitals for sexual arousal or gratification. A first violation would carry a fine of $1,000 to $5,000; a later violation could carry a fine of up to $10,000. The ban and fines would take effect on the 90th day after enactment.
