The law lets the secretary of state, a county auditor, or a voter registered in the same county seek a voter-list correction or challenge a voter's eligibility on three stated grounds.
The law allows eligible people to apply to correct a precinct voter list or challenge a registered voter's right to vote. The secretary of state, the county auditor where the voter is registered, or another voter registered in that same county may apply. An application under this section may challenge only whether the voter voted or registered in another state, lives in South Dakota, or is a United States citizen. The application must be filed no later than the 90th day before a primary, runoff, special, or general election.
No hearings or votes scheduled.
