What it does
Prohibits the recovery of medical assistance from an individual's estate under circumstances in which a child had been living in the individual's home and providing care to the individual. Directs the Oregon Health Authority and the Department of Human Services to seek any necessary federal approval. Becomes operative on the date that notice of federal approval is received.
