What it does
Appropriates moneys from the General Fund to the Department of Education for distribution to schools for the purpose of providing child care before and after school hours. Directs the department to report to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to child care no later than June 30, 2027. Declares an emergency, effective July 1, 2025.
