The College of Southern Nevada receives $1.2 million for NV Grow and reports on its spending. The spending reports cover the appropriation except for the money allocated to the named partners. The money supports program services, specialist training, stipends, and other program costs. Each fiscal year, $100,000 goes to the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension in Clark County for counseling, training, and data cleanup, and $30,000 goes to named chamber partners for part-time marketing services. When the College accepts the money, it must report its other spending to the Interim Finance Committee and provide records for an audit if the Legislative Commission requests one. The first report is due by December 18, 2026, and the final report by September 17, 2027. Unspent money cannot be committed after June 30, 2027, and must return to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027.
