The law sets aside $11 million from the State General Fund for the Nevada System of Higher Education. The money is for safety equipment and security improvements for the Nevada System of Higher Education. Any money left must return to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027. The law takes effect July 1, 2025. The money cannot be committed after June 30, 2027, or spent after September 17, 2027.
