Park managers would be allowed to transfer mobile home spaces into separately owned lots without meeting local lot-dimension rules or making infrastructure upgrades otherwise required when land is divided.
Mobile home park managers would be allowed to transfer individual spaces into separately owned lots. The park provision covers individual mobile home spaces. The zoning protection covers spaces occupied by manufactured, modular, or mobile homes. Transfers could proceed without meeting local rules for lot dimensions, including minimum size and required distances between buildings and lot boundaries. Transfers would not require infrastructure upgrades otherwise required by rules for dividing land into separate lots. Rules under the Manufactured Housing and Zoning Act could not block these covered ownership transfers.
