The real estate director could issue an order to stop unlicensed work without the commission first sending a complaint or holding a hearing. These orders would cover people doing real estate work that requires a license without holding the proper license. The person could request a hearing before the State Real Estate Commission. Notice and hearing requirements would follow the Administrative Procedure Act, Nebraska’s rules for agency proceedings. The ten-day period for an order to become final would start when the order is issued.
The State Real Estate Commission would employ a director and a deputy director. Both officials would keep the commission’s records and perform other duties it assigns.
