North Dakota’s Legislative Management must consider conducting a dental care study. The study focuses on low-income children, Native American children, and people with disabilities, including Medicaid recipients on and off reservations. If conducted, the study must review care barriers, Medicaid administration and payments, insurance costs, and ways to train and recruit dental workers. The study may also examine all Medicaid recipients’ unmet dental needs and whether additional kinds of dental workers could help. The study consideration applies during the 2025–26 period between regular legislative sessions. Legislative Management must report findings, recommendations, and any legislation needed to carry them out to the seventieth legislative assembly.
