The license would cover Bear's Den and Gleason Ventures LLC at 5 Bank Row in Greenfield. The city could grant the license but would not have to. Alcohol sales would be limited to the restaurant dining room and other public areas the licensing authority approves in writing. Other state alcohol licensing rules would apply, except section 17 of chapter 138. If passed, the act would take effect upon passage. The license would have to be issued within one year of that effective date.
