MissouriModifies provisions relating to providing explicit sexual material to a student
What it does
This act provides that any library district or school district that employs a person who has been found guilty of the offense of providing explicit sexual material to a student shall no longer be eligible to receive any state funds.
More detail
Additionally, the act modifies the offense of providing explicit sexual material to a student by including situations where a person approves of the provision of such material, as well as by adding library board members to the definition of persons who are "affiliated with a public or private elementary or secondary school in an official capacity".
This act is identical to SB 483 (2025) and SB 1272 (2024). OLIVIA SHANNON
