If enacted, the measure would authorize the transportation committee to report legislation to the 133rd Legislature. The authority would apply to the joint legislative committee responsible for transportation matters. Any legislation must be based on recommendations in the report submitted to the transportation committee in 2026 under Resolve 2025, chapter 77. The committee could report legislation to the 133rd Legislature in 2027.
