More detail
The law provides one-time funding to support five certified clinics, including hiring clinical and administrative staff. The funding supports the five clinics certified by Maine under the federal Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Medicaid Demonstration Program. The funding must support clinic improvements in a way that enables the Department of Health and Human Services to access the program’s enhanced federal match. The department must continue working with clinic providers on how to use available funding to fully implement the program. The funding is listed for fiscal year 2026–27 and is described as one-time.
