Each electricity supplier would report a separate summary for every generation plant, including its book values, federal-compliance investments, and estimated replacement cost.
The utility commission could use a general order to require suppliers to include other information it considers necessary in their annual filing.
Each supplier would include a separate summary for every generation plant in its annual filing. This applies to electricity suppliers as defined in Indiana law and covers each of their electric generation plants. The summary would list the plant’s original and current book value, total investments made to meet federal requirements, and estimated replacement cost. The replacement-cost estimate would use an accredited basis and the plant’s summer UCAP. The section is marked effective July 1, 2026. Annual accounts close December 31, and the filing is due by April 30 following.
The utility commission could issue a general order requiring suppliers to include more information in the annual filing. This applies to electricity suppliers filing the annual accounting report with the commission. The extra information may supplement the plant information or include other information the commission considers necessary. The additional information would be submitted with the annual filing.
