Monthly benefits for participants would increase by the percentage rise in the Consumer Price Index, if any. This applies to participants receiving monthly benefits under this chapter. The increase is capped at 3%. The increase applies to the benefit amount, including earlier increases under this section or another provision. This applies to state fiscal years beginning after June 30, 2026. The increase starts with the July payment.
