The budget agency may use the appropriation only for the Child Care and Development Fund voucher program and On My Way Pre-K. This applies to the appropriation from the financial responsibility and opportunity growth fund in HEA 1001-2025. Use is subject to budget committee review. The listed uses for corrections operations, Medicaid assistance, and the family and children fund are repealed. A recipient that already received money for a repealed purpose must return it to the state comptroller for transfer under this section. The section takes effect retroactively on July 1, 2025, and expires July 1, 2027.
