If enacted, the Legislative Services Office would prepare annual state revenue estimates and revise them as needed. The estimates would be used in preparing the state budget and spending plans. The office may seek input from local governments, state agencies, groups, and interested individuals. The act would take effect July 1, 2026, if enacted.
