If enacted, Florida would use the proposed congressional boundaries for candidates and voters in the 2026 primary and general elections and later elections.
If enacted, Florida would use the listed boundaries for 28 U.S. House districts in the 2026 primary and general elections and later elections.
Florida would use the listed boundaries to elect one U.S. House representative from each of 28 districts. The plan covers Florida’s U.S. House elections. Each district would cover connected territory, using whole counties or smaller areas identified by the census. The plan would apply only if the proposal became law. The rule applying the plan to candidate qualification, nomination, and elections would take effect upon becoming law. The boundaries would otherwise take effect when the terms of U.S. House members serving at enactment expired.
No hearings or votes scheduled.
