The law reappropriates balances of earlier appropriations for statewide workforce development programs through the Department of Commerce’s Office of Skills Development. The reappropriated balances support comprehensive statewide workforce development programs. The amounts are payable from the Skills Development Fund and may be used for the listed program costs and grants. Contracts and other commitments cannot exceed state funds actually available. The department may use grants, donations, federal funds, or available cash to help pay project costs. The appropriations take effect July 1, 2026.
