The law requires each covered institution to provide menstrual products free of charge. This applies to each higher education institution that provides on-campus housing. Products must be size-appropriate tampons or sanitary napkins for menstrual use. The law takes effect July 1, 2026. Institutions must provide the products on or before August 1, 2028.
