The law re-creates the Department of Public Service and the statutory entities made part of it by law. This applies to Louisiana’s Department of Public Service and the statutory entities made part of it by law. The department and entities continue under the state law provisions named in the act. The department may be re-created before July 1, 2031, under those provisions. The department and entities are re-created effective June 30, 2026. Their operations begin terminating July 1, 2030, and their legal authority ends July 1, 2031.
