A proposed constitutional amendment would make Delaware's House and Senate get approval from three-fifths of all elected members before suspending their rules.
The House or Senate could set aside its own rules only if three-fifths of all members elected to that chamber agreed.
Each chamber would need members' agreement to suspend one or more of its rules. This would cover the Delaware House and Senate, each voting on its own rules. At least three-fifths of all members elected to that chamber would have to agree.
No hearings or votes scheduled.
