Starting January 1, 2028, Delaware political committees would file quarterly campaign money reports, and the election schedule would have no separate 30-day report.
Starting January 1, 2028, political committees would file quarterly campaign money reports after receiving or spending money, through the year those amounts balance and the committee closes.
The proposed schedule has no separate report 30 days before an election. Committees would still report for the period ending eight days before an election, except committees for candidates off that ballot.
Political committees would file campaign money reports each quarter. A new committee starts reporting when it first receives a contribution or spends money. Reporting continues through the year its money received and spent balance and it closes. Committees must submit reports through the state's campaign finance reporting system. Starting January 1, 2028, reporting periods would end March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. Reports would be due by 11:59 p.m. on the twentieth day afterward that is not a state holiday.
Political committees would follow an election report schedule with no separate 30-day report. The report for the period ending eight days before an election does not apply to committees for candidates who are not on that election's ballot. Committees must submit the eight-day report through the state's campaign finance reporting system. Starting January 1, 2028, the eight-day report would be due by 11:59 p.m. on the second day after its reporting period ends that is not a state holiday.
No hearings or votes scheduled.
