Health carriers, third-party administrators, and pharmacy benefits managers must include pharmacists in reimbursement processes and provider networks for covered clinical services. This applies to health benefits provided, administered, or managed in Connecticut. The service must be within the pharmacist's license and already covered when provided by another licensed health care provider. Plans do not have to cover services they do not otherwise cover.
