Public agencies must report household hazardous-waste information for the prior calendar year, and the state recycling department must share reports with toxic-substance officials upon request.
Household hazardous-waste reports must cover the prior calendar year instead of the prior fiscal year and remain due to the state by October 1.
The state recycling department must provide the toxic-substances department a completed report when requested, while operators continue sending copies to local hazardous-materials agencies by October 1.
Public agencies responsible for household hazardous-waste management must file Form 303 reports for the prior calendar year. This applies to each public agency responsible for managing household hazardous waste. The report must be submitted to the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery. The report remains due annually. The report is due on or before October 1 each year and must cover the preceding calendar year.
The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery must provide a completed Form 303 to the Department of Toxic Substances Control when requested. The rule covers reports filed by public agencies responsible for household hazardous-waste management and by contractors operating collection facilities. The agency or contractor operating a collection facility must also send a copy to the local hazardous-materials enforcement agency, or to the designated state or local agency where no local agency exists. The report must be submitted to the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery under that department's rules. The local agency copy is due on or before October 1 each year; the Department of Toxic Substances Control receives a copy only when it requests one.
